barbecue Burgers

 

1/2 c. onion, finely chopped

1 T. mustard

1 T. butter

1 c. ketchup

1T. vinegar

1/4 c. water

3T. brown sugar

3 c. ground beef or pork roast

1 T. Worcestershire sauce

8-10 hot buttered buns

 

Cook onion in butter until barely tender, stirring frequently.  Stir in next six ingredients.  Simmer 5 minutes: add meat and cook thoroughly.  Spoon into buns and serve at once.
