Midwest Chowder

2. cups diced potatoes
1/2 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup sliced celery
¼ cup diced onions
2 cups water
1
t. salt

¼ cup margarine
¼ cup flour
2 cups milk
8 oz.Velveeta
16 oz can of creamed corn

Cook vegetables in the water for 10 minutes. While they cook melt margarine, stir in flour, and cook for 1 minute. Then stir in milk-cook and stir constantly until thick.
Add cheese and corn and heat through. Watch that it doesn’t boil. Add to cooked vegetables with water and season to taste.
