Shrimp Al Ajillo
This recipe was supplied to us from "El Faro" Spanish Restaurant located in the
West Village.
2 lbs. Shrimp (peel and deveine) / 1 cup Olive Oil / 3 tbsp. Mashed Garlic / 1
tsp. Crushed Hot Pepper /
1 tsp. Tobasco / 1 tsp. Paprika (Spanish Pimento) / Salt to taste
Preparation: Saute garlic in oil on a low flame for two minutes. Add shrimp,
increase heat and cook two
minutes longer. Add paprika, salt, red pepper and tobasco, cover and cook 5
minutes and serve. El Faro
recommends this dish to be served with rice. Buon Apetito
