Microwave Caramel Corn

 

 

4 qts. popped corn

 

1 C. brown sugar

1/4 c. corn syrup

1 stick butter

1/2 tsp. salt

 

Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt.  Microwave to boil 2 min.  Stir; boil again 2 min.  Stir in:

 

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 tsp. soda

 

Pour over popped corn; cover loosely and shake.  Microwave 1-1/2 min.: shake.  Microwave 45 sec.: shake.  Microwave 45 sec.; shake.  Spread on a cookie sheet to cool.
